Dr. Frisch received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Benedictine University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern Nevada. Afterwards, she completed an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Salt Lake City Healthcare System. As a pharmacy student and resident, she was the author of a number of publications. After residency, she held positions at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMCSN) and the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. She most recently accepted a position at the UMCSN as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care with special interests in infectious diseases and nutrition. She currently acts as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents along with further developing the parenteral nutrition training program. Dr. Frisch is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). She formally served on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NVSHP) and acted as a liaison to the NVSHP Education Committee.
