Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Southern Nevada College of Pharmacy in 2010.  She then completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency and an ASHP-accredited specialty residency in critical care at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.  Upon completion of her residency, she accepted a position as a clinical specialist in emergency medicine at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  In 2013, she accepted a position as a clinical specialist in emergency medicine at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.  She became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) in 2011 and a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist (BCCCP) in 2015.  She became the PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Coordinator in 2017. Dr. Patel precepts both pharmacy students and pharmacy residents on emergency medicine rotations.
