a. Dr. Simon received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern Nevada in 2006 and completed his pharmacy practice residency at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University Northridge and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University. Before his pharmacy career began he worked in the intensive care setting as a registered nurse. Currently, he is employed as a clinical pharmacy specialist in trauma surgery at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents. Areas of interests include trauma, burn, critical care, and infectious diseases.
